Posting another photo of my tattoo removal session I had performed over a month ago. I went to the dermatology clinic to ask the doctor if this was normal. He said it was and that it would heal, and that I may be a slower healer. It is driving me crazy because Ive never had redness last so long in my skin. Can redness be permanent?? The spots that are red were fully inked and the ink was gone after 1 session. I was told I was treated with high intensity but this machine is obviously powerful.
I was just treated with PicoSure for a cafe au Lait macule on my face. I am applying Aquaphor and sunscreen every two hours. Other than slight redness what will I expect? Will a blister/scab form? What does the healing process look like with PicoSure?
I just got picosure focus done on upper arm. There are small concentrated dots of brown in certain areas. Also some areas look darker. Its been 48 hours since the laser. Is this temporary? How long will it take to heal?
Its been 5 days since having sun spots removal with Picosure Focus. Now that the scabs fell off Im left with lighter skin underneath. My Dr says its the normal process and my new skin will repigmentate. I would like to know if this is correct and what would be the time frame? Really need a second opinion. Thank you
I got a treatment done on 2 small spots on my face 2 weeks ago. The spots darkened and flaked off as expected. However, the area around one of my spots also flaked off and healed darker than my regular skin. So now there is a dark circle area surrounding the spot I was trying to treat. The other spot was pink but then healed darker than it was originally. Is this normal? Is there anything I should be doing?
I work in the corporate world so the possibility of putting my hair up is non existent now when it was a near everyday occurrence pre-tattoo. I also feel like it looks like a C, and that is the first initial of my S/O first name... I feel extra lame. It is supposed to be a crescent moon. I've read that it takes at least a month to heal before I should attempt any laser removal. How many sessions would this take to remove? I've heard mixed reviews on new tattoos being easier or harder to remove.
I've had my first picosure skin rejuvenation a week ago. I got it down to remove a couple of sun spots ans some freckles. My skin is generally very good but since having the treatment there is definitely texture on my face. It feels lumpy and I still have blotchy red around my cheeks. Is this likely to go away over time? it also itchy's a little and feels a little tingly. Is that due to the healing process?
Hello, I had one session of Picosure laser done on my lower body (buttocks area) to remove stubborn post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I was told I would only be mildly red for a few hours, and that the settings were safe for my olive skin tone (Fitzpatrick 4). However, it looks like my skin has been damaged after a week and a half. Is this normal healing, or could it be permanent damage or lead to hypopigmentation?
