Orbera Gastric Balloon Q&A

My gastric bypass was complicated during surgery when blood supply to my stomach was not optimal for some reason. The surgery was competed but the stomach could only be made the size of a man's fist (not a thimb as desired). I worked hard & lost 90-100lbs. I was about 270lbs & 5'3. I could use losing another 30-40lbs but now struggle with being able to eat more than I should. I am interested in knowing if I am a possible candidate for the gastric balloon. I am in otherwise good health.

What is the average down time after this procedure.

I really am not interested in the sleeve or bypass. I know I cant to do the band. Am I absolutely disqualified or is there just more risk factors?

1. Studies indicate about 10% of gastric balloon cases have it removed early due to intolerance. 2. Will doctors ever give a refund or replacement if this happens?
