I had several bad rhinoplasties and blood supply is not good. I use filler sometimes and my mid vault is permanently discolored. This time, I had injection site on sides of mid vault, and last injec. was very painful (above right nostril to mid vault). Few hours later it was completely blue- purple, even tip, although I didn't had filler in the tip. My doctor who did filler is not plastic surgeon or dermatologist, he said that it is just a bruise, that I don't need hyaluronidase or antibiotic.
I have a very noticeable dip on the tip of my nose and essentially have two nose tips. I want to have this 'dip' filled in with a hyaluronic filler. HOWEVER, the risk of necrosis/blindness is scary, especially as the tip of the nose is apparently the most risky. I have read that the use of a blunt cannula and dilution of the filler with lidocaine and/or epinephrine can minimise complications. Im interested in the experiences of doctors here. Are the risk minimisation techniques important?
I had a non-surgical rhinoplasty on my nose (revolax sub q dermal filler) on Sunday. Immediately after I bruised very slightly from where a cannula was inserted. Today I went to have some of the filler dissolved because I didn't like the result. The bruise has darkened and turned a sort of purple (see photo - top bruise is the one I am referring to - the bottom marks are from the needles for hyaluronidase dissolver). I have scared myself ready reviews about necrosis. Could this be a vascular occlusion?
Hi, I had non-surgical rhinoplasty 3 days ago now. It was initially bruised at the top, and I was told it will go away over a day or two. The top of the left hand side has now turned in to a circle shaped bruise.. that doesn't look like normal bruising. Is it nercrosis? What should I do? I'm extremely concerned, not painful but when you touch it feels slightly like a lump. (A cannula wasn't used) thanks!
I've had a non surgical nose job before and loved the results. I moved and went to a new provider--she mentioned that necrosis is possible and I need to weigh that into risks associated with the procedure. My prior provider did not tell me that! What's the verdict?
I had a nonsurgical nose job (filler) 2-3 mo ago. The tip of my nose has been red ever since the procedure and I am concerned because it is not improving at all. I can see some little darkened capillaries and am also nervous about a little dark spot I saw today. If this were a serious complication leading to necrosis would it have happened already and now it's just cosmetic? Or should I go get it dissolved? The injector said sometimes redness takes forever to resolve but I'm concerned.
Hello, I had filler injected to my nose 4 days ago. The area where the filler was injected is a little red, but I don't have any pain or swelling. Do you believe that this might turn to necrosis? I asked the nurse who injected me, and she said if it turns black go to the hospital. Which is a very bad answer since it would be to late if I wait untill then. I would rather do something about it now if there is any chance this will lead to necrosis.
I just had filler injected into my nose about 2 hours ago, and while there's zero pain it looks like this. I'm worried about necrosis. Is this normal? Is it just bruising or should I be worried? I'd greatly appreciate any input on the matter.
I'm really scared about necrosis and vascular obstruction (and even getting blind) with a non surgical nose job. I'm forbidden to do surgery due to health issues. But I hate my droopy nose tip, And it looks so much better with a slight lift. But I'm really scared. Can use of cannula prevent this unwanted consequences? Thank you
