Hello Doctors, I will be getting a mommy makeover, and I am trying to prepare myself. Reading through this website I came across ladies talking about compression socks? Is this necessary? And where can I purchase them? And, how will this help with my recovery? Thank you
Hi doctors, I had lipo & BBL a few months ago, the PS requires me to wear anti-embolism stockings for a week. Going to a new PS for a TT & BL this week he doesn't require the stockings. He even mentioned that the stocking doesn't serve a purpose, they only give you a sense of comfort. Looking for some opinions on this decision. Thanks in advance.

Hi, im a 38 y.o. female . I had a tummy tuck July 2022 . I have been doing everthing thats has been suggested. I been in compression around the clock since the day of surgery. I had over 7 post opt massages ,using arnica gel, drink arnica tea daily, light exercise , drinking water , and pineapple juice. I blow up like a can of biscuits as soon as i take the garment off. I still have a flap of fat and love handles. Will this resolve itself or a another procedure is needed
I am getting a mommy makeover... Drainless tummy tuck, transaxillary augmentation, and inner thigh lipo. I have done a lot of research and I read a lot about compression garments. My Dr doesn't recommend wearing them with the drainless tummy tuck during the first two weeks. Thoughts? I haven't read this anywhere else. Also, the surgery time is going to be 7 hours. Is this too long? I am healthy with no underlying issues... no smoking etc. PS is board certified.
