The doctor told me not to get my mole wet but whenever I went home to shower it accidentally got wet. I put two bandaids for safety just in case and one of them still ended up falling off and I tried to get it out of the water as much as possible. Is this okay? Will it effect the healing process?
So I just had a mole on my nose removed and it has a circle bandaid over it and I was told to keep it on for the rest of the day but I want to know if its ok to shower with that bandage on because I do not want to ruin the bandage.
I noticed a few months ago that I had a small raised mole while I was showering and paid no attention it. Now I've noticed that the bump is a little grey in color and there's a new smaller mole next to the already existing one. Should I be worried? I'm 19 years old and have no health problems that I know of.
I got a mole removed on my back 3 days ago and today is the day I got to take off my 1st plaster. I had gone shower first and then I removed my plaster but when I removed it, there was a brown liquid coming from the 2nd plaster I have on? Could this be dry blood from when it was removed? I am quite concerned as the second plaster is now covered in this 'dry blood' and I'm not sure if this is how it should be? What is this brown all over my plaster?
I have had a mole removed from my back today as doctors thought it may be a worry to me. They mentioned not to exercise or anything like that but I forgot to ask shower wise as my aftercare leaflet says don't get it wet but I'm not sure for how long. I'm also at a spa weekend this weekend, does this mean I will not be able to swim etc? Thanks in advance!
I just recently had a mole cauterized and shaved from my back. I was told to not get it wet for 24 hours but they never told me if showering is ok. Would shampoo, conditioner , or body wash be bad for it? I am afraid of infection as this already looks horrendous.
