I have had a mole removed from my back today as doctors thought it may be a worry to me. They mentioned not to exercise or anything like that but I forgot to ask shower wise as my aftercare leaflet says don't get it wet but I'm not sure for how long. I'm also at a spa weekend this weekend, does this mean I will not be able to swim etc? Thanks in advance!

Answer: Post operative care after minor skin surgery
Dear natureluver (me, too, by the way):I don't know what others in my area charge but we charge $200 for a shave removal of a benign nevus (and it sounds like that is what you would need) and $500 for an excision with two layers of sutures.Look for a board-certified dermatologist with some years...
Any mole which changes or suddenly appears needs to be evaluated. Most plastic surgeons and dermatologists will recommend an excisional biopsy of the lesion so that it can be sent for pathology.
I think the photo looks like an irritated seborrheic keratosis (age spot). This is benign. However, you need to get it checked out by a dermatologist because melanomas can present in this way.
