Can my bandage covering my recent - today - removed mole get wet by taking a shower? Is it fine to do so?

So I just had a mole on my nose removed and it has a circle bandaid over it and I was told to keep it on for the rest of the day but I want to know if its ok to shower with that bandage on because I do not want to ruin the bandage.

Hi ThereThank you for your excellent question that I get asked a lot.It depends on the dressing your doctor has used, just give them a quick call. The answer is generally keep it dry.They should have given you an information sheet with all this information on as it can be difficult to remember what was said in a consultation.
