I have hyperhidrosis since a traumatic delivery, embarrassingly enough in the area between my buttocks. Botox works but has to be repeated and is only fully effective for perhaps 6-8 weeks. Can the area between the buttocks be treated with MiraDry?
I am a 45 year old female in good health except that I am somewhat overweight - 170 lbs and 5,4. The skin between my buttocks and in my groin folds is constantly sweaty and itching. The skin is clear with no redness, peeling, or exudate; I do not think this is a fungal or yeast problem. The itching is only when I'm sweating ... but that can be constant, even at rest. I realize I am perimenopausal but is this really a symptom? What can I do? I am so uncomfortable. No other hyperhidrosis.
Hello I am writing desperate for help! I suffer from excessive sweating in the groin and butt areas. I am 24 years old and can't imagine having to live life this way forever. This condition is very embarrassing and depressing. Topical antiperspirant didn't help any and botox is not an option due to cost and the need to be constantly repeated. I have heard a lot about off label use of miradry but still can not find a doctor to help me. Please help... Any permanent option..
I sweat profusely in my buttocks area. The worst is the creases where my cheeks meet my thighs. Can miradry be used in this area effectively? I had one treatment but it didn't help. I did notice the strength would jump around automatically from 5 to 1 or 2 based on where the screen thought it was being used in the armpit (even though it was not the armpit being treated). Do you think it didn't work bc it wasn't level 5 the whole time? Or is there too much fat or density to have effective treatment there?
