I have always had what I call a baby roll below my breasts (even when I was 20lbs lighter ). Ive tried to Google and only see that this can be caused by a rib flare. Ive had two consultations and one dr said it was skin and would need to be excised while another said lipo would work. Tired of always having to hide it and limit what I wear.
ever since high school (and maybe before i just can't remember lol) i've had these weird pouches over my ribs. no matter how thin i get i still have them. do i need liposuction to remove them? i'm about five foot 2 and weigh between 95 and 100 pounds. i've heard of rib flare but idk if it's that or not? i'm so confused
I had laser liposuction 10 weeks ago. During my procedure, while in the area of my hips, ribs and breastbone, I felt what I can only describe as electrocution ... I was screaming, crying and begging the doctor to stop, but she didn't. I was in so much pain. Here it is 10 weeks later and not only am I still very swollen, but in the areas that I felt electrocuted, I have much pain in my hip bones, ribs and breastbone. Along with the pain I have severe burning in the same areas. Any suggestions?
I had lipo on June 15th tummy and flanks. Is it normal to have large bruising on one side on your buttocks? I had a huge bruise that came from my right butt cheek that went up to my ribs area.. left side some bruising but not on left buttcheeck. Now that I'm healing I see my right cheek deflated or something
I had lipo posterior flanks and inner thigh last week. Now when I breathe deep I have a sharp pain in my right lower rib area and at times in my shoulder. I take short breaths breathing deep hurts.....???? So wasn't sure if my ribs are bruised? Other then that I feel great.
Lipo of inner/outer thighs 12/2015. Apparently also my back area and rib cage too. Didn't expect that. Notice the long marks? I can feel the indention on the longer marks. The darker area is one big indention. It seems as though they will look like stretch marks. I didn't have any marks at all before. Will massaging help these issues?
I've always had a naturally tiny physique, but as I've reached my later teenage years, I'm now 17, my ribs haven't stopped growing, they are uneven, huge and desperately affecting my body confidenc. As well as physical issues, such as being unable to find clothes to fit, unable to lay on my front and my chest not seeming to expand as much as other peoples when I breathe! Can anything be done?
Now that I have lost over 100 pounds, I can see that something strange happened to my ribs. Perhaps this happened due to pregnancy plus being extremely obese? Is there anything that can be done? I have never heard anyone else complain about this. I am planning to have high volume liposuction (my remaining weight is in the hips/thighs) and skin removal as well; do surgeons deal with this too?
