Hi. I want to get stomach lipo, but the fear of ruining my body with a lumpy result is holding me back. What exactly causes this lumpiness? Is it too large of a cannula, too much fat removed, poor surgical technique, or is it just the way some people heal and it cant be avoided? If you do get a lumpy result, what are the odds it will go away? The surgeon Im thinking of going with uses tumescent lipo under general anesthesia. Is this a good lipo method?
Hi there I received plastic surgery liposuction in Miami in 2019 they did my full stomach and back however after the procedure and many many massages my stomach still looks very lumpy and I also look like I have a baby bump. Is fat gravitating towards my lower stomach because of diet and/or protecting organs? Thank you.
I had lipo done in the abdominal area in 2008. I weighed 180LBs then. After the procedure I gained and lost weight a few times and I am now 147LBS (stable weight for 3 years). I am still trying to lose aprox. 17 more pounds but I find that when I tuck my tummy in, it looks uneven and lumpy. I imagine it is because some areas no longer have fat cells and some do. In order to have a flat stomach will losing the rest of the weight be enough? Should I be looking int cool sculpting? Is it loose skin
My arm lipo didnt go well even tho i done revision, there is dents and lumpy, is it possible to gain weight with the time on my arms and fell the dents ? Dose the work out will help ? Hello! I had liposuction on my abdomen & flanks 6 months ago. I followed all of my doctors post-Op instructions including wearing my compression garment for the first 5-6 weeks. Around 3-4 months once the swelling subsided, I began to notice bumps and lumpiness on my abdomen. I consulted with my doctor who said that I am a rare case and will likely take a year to heal and see better results. He offered 2 sessions of radio frequency services. I am seeking additional opinions. Thank you!
Im not sure that there has been much change in healing and appearance. Ive tried a few lymphatic massages with ultrasound, which are expensive and there is no proof that they actually work. Every area where there was lipo done (including arms) feels like my skin is tearing and burns when I stretch. All the areas are still hard and lumpy. Is all this still normal this far out? My MD says to give it more time but is there anything that will prevent me from looking like this permanently?
What are these dark patches on my stomach? I got lipo and tummy tuck which I regret so so much. I only initially went in for lipo on my tummy and he suggested a mini tummy tuck. But somehow I was in surgery from 2pm to 9pm, and ended up with a a massive tummy tuck, (although no muscles were tightened). The tummy tuck was massive and the scar is from hip to back, (I'm size 12 but had a post pregnancy 'apron.') Skin is hard & feels plastic. Patches have not improved as promised after 1 year.
