How long should I wait after having COVID-19 to undergo 360 Liposuction with local anesthesia? It has been 2 weeks after my isolation release but I still have a lingering cough and occasional shortness of breath.
I can't breathe doing the most simple things like getting dressed etc. I want lipo to remove fat in upper stomach so the lungs have room. This has effected my way of life. It is not for vanity reasons or weight loss - just to breathe. When I feel better with this procedure, I know I will have motivation to lose weight (again). PLEASE - I hope a doctor will respond to answer my question. Thank you in advance.
53 y/o male, 6'1, 300 lbs. non-smoker on disability for back injury (L1-L5 - 2 bulging, 3 herniated). Other med problems - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm w/o rupture, Asthma, Sleep Apnea. Doctors say abdomen is causing pressure on my diaphragm adding to diff breathing and to back pain. Only exercise I get is walking through stores. I have lost 10 pounds in past 13 months. Will abdominal liposuction help with my breathing and help ease some of the back pain? If so can I get insurance to pay?
Its been 3 months since i got lipo ..My stomach is the size of a watermelon but it really isn't. I even have trouble breathing sometimes after eating a bit too much. It's not too bad in the morning but as soon as I eat anything it starts and gets worse . It looks like I'm pregnant. My low abdominal hurts my stomach gets really inflated my back starts to hurt
PS removed 4 liters and I was under general anesthesia for 4 hrs. I went into the ER 2 days later because it was hard to breathe and I was feeling bad. Did test and lung X-ray and no clots. At 3 weeks I am still feeling weak and finding it hard to catch my breath after any type of activity. Is this just my body trying to heal and it's taking longer than unusual? I am 47 years old but was extremely active before surgery. Could it still be the affects of the anesthesia? I am getting concerned.
