Had liposuction and Renuvion on upper lower, abdomen and flanks in Jan 2024. 1 wk post-op, noticed right flank was uneven. When pointed out at checkup, was dismissed as swelling. 2 wks post-op, had to get seromas by incisions drained. Now 12 wks out, flanks are noticeably uneven, and stomach is dented, and uneven, especially where seromas were drained. Ive done my compression garments and gotten weekly massages. Will I need a revision or are there any non-invasive treatments to fix this?
I had revision lipo in March this year to the stomach and flanks after my initial op left me uneven beside my belly button.I am still uneven after my revision surgery despite my surgeon assuring me that my stomach would be as flat as my post op photos he showed me (still on the operating table). I followed all my post op care - do I just need to allow more time? First pic is before, others are after revision.
June 2010 I had lipo on my abs, flanks and back by an unqualified dr. I am now left with severe gouging on some areas, uneven belly with dips and valleys, and shelfing from one area to another where feathering was not done. I have talked to a few Board Certified Drs since with different suggestions each time. My question is what do I do to fix my mishapen body? Fat graft, more lipo to even the areas, tummy tuck to redrape skin--but the uneven fat removal still will be there even if the skin's tight.
I am a female, 42yo, 55kg. I had lipo as part of a fat transfer procedure over 2 yrs ago, and am having persistent (tearing) pain at the lipo sites on my flanks on running over 7km. The pain lasts for a few days to a week after. The other lipo sites are fine. I am a long distance runner so this is quite disruptive. I have tried compressive garments and am going to try strapping the area next. Is there anything else I can do, and can I expect this to resolve at all?
I had a tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks in 2022. Noticed a hard lump went back to same surgeon in 2023 for lipo 360 plus revision of that lump. Hard lump is still there & did not go away with massages. What could this be? Surgeon wont revise, says it's loose skin, but the lump is hard. The lump is visible through my clothing and does not match my right flank. When wearing underwear, jeans, leggings, joggers, etc the lump protrudes even further.
I had lipo in my abdomen and flank areas about 7 years ago. I never got the flat results I was hoping for--I have some firm lumps that may be scar tissue as well as a dent where too much was removed. I've tried lymphatic drainage, warm sculpting, Sculptura injections. Nothing worked. I'm considering a revision BUT Ive also had persistent nerve pain (stinging, burning) since the surgery. Is post-lipo neuralgia common and will a revision make it worse?
Hi, after having liposuction to my flanks, hips, and saddlebags. I was left with these pockets of fat. How can I fix this the least invasive way? Also, I had Aveli done last year in January 2022. Im not happy with how the skin looks. I feel like I still have a lot of cellulite left. Ive had 3 treatments of morphines 8 done and 9 vials of sculptura done about 2 months ago. What else can I do?
A year ago I had botched vaser lipo of stomach, flanks, lower back, inner and outer thighs and inner knees. My stomach was under corrected and uneven, I have lumpy and uneven inner thighs and a bulge in the right outer, hip dips, and a dropped right buttock. Can revision and fat grafting fix this? What options are there to fix my dropped butt cheek?
I have a horizontal indentation of my left flank muscle after having had lipoabdominoplasty. The muscle bulges and there is a horizontal wrinkle underneath it, approximately 3 inches in length. I have been massaging it for weeks, but I don't see any changes. I wore my compression binder for 5 weeks, only removing it for a shower. I'm not sure if my compression garment created it, or the garment reduced the swelling so now I can see it? Can this problem be resolved?
I had lipo 8 months with some fat transfer. I did my arms, legs, stomach and flanks. Transferred fat to my hip dips and to some uneven areas of my thighs. Right after the surgery I did notice that the areas where fat was transferred didnt look plump, like not enough was transferred. He said to wait because I was swollen and now 8 months later, the areas where fat was transferred look the same. If I go back to him, am I going to be expected to pay all over again to get the results unexpected?
