Should I got back to my surgeon over irregularities after lipo? Some lipoed areas look uneven or like not enough was taken out

I had lipo 8 months with some fat transfer. I did my arms, legs, stomach and flanks. Transferred fat to my hip dips and to some uneven areas of my thighs. Right after the surgery I did notice that the areas where fat was transferred didn’t look plump, like not enough was transferred. He said to wait because I was swollen and now 8 months later, the areas where fat was transferred look the same. If I go back to him, am I going to be expected to pay all over again to get the results unexpected?

Lipo/BBL (hip dip filling) is an unpredictable surgery. Revisions occur in 30% of the cases. So YES you will be charged for the OR/Anesthesia/Medications/Staff. No surgeons fee if under 1 year in most practices. But these fees are in the $4,000+ ranges..Best to virtual consult with....

The advantage to asking your surgeon, who did the procedure to do a second round of surgery or a revision procedure is that it may be discounted. On the other hand, do you want a surgeon to do a second procedure who wasn’t able to get you results in the first place, whether it’s lack of skill in doing the procedure, or lack of skill, and making an accurate assessment, with the ability to accurately predict outcome.
Ultimately, that’s a decision you need to make.
