I've had this lump on my forehead for about 10 years. I believe it was trauma induced. I consulted with my PCP who did a CT scan and stated it was a soft tissue nodule with no bone involvement. I was then referred to a plastic surgeon who stated it may be a lipoma. I underwent the procedure, but the surgeon stated he did not see any lipoma to extract. The lump still exists now with more scar tissue. Are these easily missed? Could the lump just be scar tissue from injury? Any help would be great
7 cm Lipoma removed 6 weeks ago. Located below my ribs and above hip. Felt great until about 2 weeks ago. Very uncomfortable especially when sitting. Surgeon says it is scar tissue. Basically said if it is still painful in a few months to come back.
Can the weightgain put pressure on the scar tissue? Because after the weight gain i noticed that when my thigh moves and giggles it would feel very uncomfortable and i would get a pinched sensations along my thigh. Would the weight gain be the cause of this?
Hello, I had 2 large (7 x 7 x 4) and (6 x 7 x 4) Episacral Lipomas removed from my sacrum. The surgeon cut down to the vertibral fascia. I do not think these were traditional lipomas, but fat hernations as they developed following a severe car accident. I subsequently developed a seroma in each pocket and have stabbing/burning pain. I would love to know if there is any treatment for my now chronic pain and/or scar tissue. Any help or treatment recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
I am so tired of looking for doctors in Spain, I didnt find anyone who do this yet. I hit my forehead 3 months ago and I have something caught between my skull and my skin, it is little but it is causing me some psycological problems. Endoscopic approach sounds good because the scar would be in the hair and at the same time I can make sure if there is something inside my forehead. If anybody can help me I can travel America or Europe because it affects me a lot. Thank you
