Hi, My nasolable angle is too large. I considered a lip lift but have been told on numerous occasions that my lips are too thin for this that it would likely look unnatural in the middle. I have also been recomended vermillion advancement: would this be able to decrease my nasolabial angle and create a better lip look? Im concerned this might look uncanny on a man. Many thanks!
I went to a inexperienced injector who injected 100 units , of Botox into nasal labial folds just near the nostrils. It's been 2 months & I still cannot smile. I have difficulty speaking & drool comes out of the corners of my mouth when I speak or eat. My entire upper lip curls under making my upper lip look super thin. Will a lip flip offset it. If so who do you recommend? I read 15 units can take up to 9 mo. to go away. Could this take years to go away at 50 units ea. side?
I understand the primary reason for a lip lift (which i need and am considering). But would like to know the impact good or bad the procedure has on early vertical lines over top lip and nasal folds. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello, I'm considering a lip lift and I wanted to find out what happens to nasolabial folds after lip lift? Do they become more visible and deeper? My doctor did not mention anything about the possible nasolabial folds change, but I think it's unavoidable. Thank you!
I am wondering if I am a good candidate for a lift lip and if so, which type would provide better results? I am in my 50's and have a long philtrum (approx 22mm) very small upper lip, and deep perioral lines (partially hidden by 1 syringe Juvederm injected 4/21). Seems that a gull wing lip lift could possibly remove some of the perioral lines and maybe reduce nasolabial folds, but this type of lift doesn't seem to be common. What is the best treatment option and how many mm could be removed?
I have an asymmetrical and angry mouth, and 2 cm between lip and nose. I also have quote showing nasolabial folds, and loss of volume in my cheeks in the front of my face. I also have high cheek bones, and this is not a pretty combination... I am desperate, and have a constant headache from tightening the muscles in my face and making a grimace. Thanks a lot in advance!
Hello, Would I be a good candidate for a lip lift? I have large teeth and naturally have tooth show already. Is the lip completely cut under the nose, or is just a portion of the skin layer cut and reattached to the base of the nose, thus rolling upwards rather than shortening? I also have prominent nosalabial folds and jowls-- are those in anyway helped or hindered by receiving a lip lift?
I noticed that my lip never is how I like. I also noticed that my nasolabial fold became deeper and the skin next to my nose started to sag. Is that because of the weight from the fillers? I decided to have a lip lift in 12 months. I will dissolve the fillers before my operation so that my lip will be in their natural state. Can I reverse the damage if I dissolve my lipfillers, and can the sagging/lines become worse the longer I wait?
