I had filler dissolved from years ago and a lip flip a few months ago. (2-3 months ago now). I am now left with these two dents they are driving me crazy. I don't think the injector knew what she was doing. My usual Botox NP said she thinks it's from the Botox and to let it wea off, however I feel it's something with the dissolved filler... How do I fix this???
Different practitioner advised different things to fix the dents that appeared at the corner of my mouth after a lip filler. They didn't even agree on whether or not the filler migrated... One said I *must* dissolve, as fillers never really reabsorb (?? I had no idea!) One said I can wait it out, then redo with better placement. One said that I can just have some filler placed in the dents, and I'll be fine. I want to choose the best course of action. But which one is it?
I had lip filler 12 months ago and a lip flip with Botox 3 months ago. I have this awful dent that has become more pronounced in the last few months. Could this be from the lip flip ? Seems like filler migration would be strange as its been so long. Any thoughts how to fix ?
Hi! So I really dislike the lower part of my face. I can't really put it into words so maybe someone can help so I can start researching some fillers. It looks like everything kind of blends into each other and I have no structure to my face. My lips seem to just blend in to my skin, my lips are really downturned and saggy, and I have a dent in my chin. What fillers would you recommend?
2 years ago I had my fillers resolved and then filled my lips again. Straight away I noticed a dent. It didnt go away and every time I tried to correct it with filler it got more noticeable. A couple of months ago I resolved them again and I can still see the dent. Will it ever go away or is it permanent damage?
Ive been getting my lips done since 2020 and never had any issues. However i noticed a dip/dent forming by the corner of my lip. I dont know what caused this but even filler hasnt been able to fix it. I got more filler to even my lip but after the healing period the dip reappeared. It also is a completely different color than the rest of my lips. You can notice it a lot and its made me even more insecure about my lips.
I experienced vascular occlusion, which started with a slow bruise above my lip line, then extreme swelling and pain. Ive been getting filler for 13 years and never experienced this. Judass was injected, to reverse the lip filler, 4 hours post injection. 6 wks later, I had the filler re-injected to my lips and the same thing happened! Im now left with a vertical dent above my lip which I didnt have prior to my lip filler. Is this technique of injector or should I just stay away from filler?
In certain lights, the dent causes a terrible shadow and I look disfigured. Would aggressive resurfacing help correct the dent along with the wrinkles? In the meantime, as Restylane silk doesn't seem to last long anymore when injected directly into the lines, will injecting the lips and/or lip border assist with softening the lines as well? Thanks so much!
