I read online that antibiotics can affect your injections and break them down and i just wanted to be sure before I started taking them. I have an infection (not related to the injections) and wanted to know if they would be affected, having got them done a little over a week ago.
I recently had open heart surgery and was advised to take antibiotics before any mouth procedure (dentist, filler, etc) and was wondering if antibiotics will affect the longevity of filler. They usually only last a month or two for me, so im wondering if its even worth it if itll make them dissolve even faster. thanks!
I had lip fillers done yesterday and am currently on antibiotics of penicillin for tonsillitis and was advised it's not best to get it done while on these tablets but I did as I have had fillers before and didn't think it will be an issue. There hasn't been any scares such as an infection just the usual swelling and bruising but after being told this I'm worried there is a risk of getting an infection or the swelling taking longer to go down as I'm back at work in a few days. Please advise
I had lip filler and after 4 months i woke up one morning with swollen lips and a swelling in my face. The filler was first washed out with saline and i was given antibiotics. My lips reduced after the antibiotics they swelled again. The filler was disolved in my lips and i had another course of antibiotics & steroids. My lips are back to normal with a couple of lumps but my face is swollen under my eyes. There are lumps which i can massage, they go away but come back later in the day, any idea?
I have a bladder infection and have an appointment for lip fillers. I will have been on antibiotics for 2.5 days when I get the lip fillers. Is this safe? Any contraindications? Also have hashimotos thyroid/autoimmune disease. And breast implants (dont know if that matters in any way). This would be my first time getting fillers.
I am currently on antibiotics for a suspected tooth infection (the infection wasn't visible to the dentists eye or on X-ray but based on the symptoms the dentist felt it could be early stages of an infection and prescribed an anti-b). I am due to finish the anti-b on Sunday and due to get lip fillers on Tues, using. Dental block, is this too soon after the infection?
Clearly I have an infection. Went to see my GP and they put me on bactrim antibiotics. I'm scared as now I have blister looking lumps on my lower lip as well. I do not want to have it removed, I'm praying the antibodics work. Is there anything I can do to avoid lip surgery? I've been on the antibodics for 2 days. The top lip lump is sbout dime size, the bottom lip has 3 different infected sites. The picture doesn't look like they are bad but it's bad. Moreover, they don't hurt at all.
