Three months post lip fillers I developed swelling and what looked like fever blisters. (cold sore culture was negative) Steroids helped temporarily but, swelling and blisters returned almost immediately after completing the pack. My question is if I am allergic to one brand would I be allergic to all and what would be a first step towards attempting another filler. (1.2 Versa was the brand used) This is my first experience with fillers.
Three months post lip fillers and started developing swelling, tingling which eventually led to several cold sores all over top and bottom lips I typically get one or two cold sores a year but, nothing like this. Could I be allergic to fillers this far out post injection? I would say there's roughly 5 or 6 blisters between top and bottom lips. Do I have to dissolve my fillers?
I had lip filler and after 4 months i woke up one morning with swollen lips and a swelling in my face. The filler was first washed out with saline and i was given antibiotics. My lips reduced after the antibiotics they swelled again. The filler was disolved in my lips and i had another course of antibiotics & steroids. My lips are back to normal with a couple of lumps but my face is swollen under my eyes. There are lumps which i can massage, they go away but come back later in the day, any idea?
I have a nut allergy and carry an epi pen for this. Also sensitive to many seasonal allergies, animals, and artificial scents/perfumes. I've read allergy is extremely rare but am worried as I seem to be sensitive to many things.
I wanted enhance my lips, so I went to a doctor in Chicago, in the Little Village area, he claimed to be a plastic surgeon. He injected liquid silicone into my lips, at first everything was fine, but then I had an allergic reaction. I went to another doctor and he said that the liquid silicone was an illegal substance here in the USA, he said that it will be really hard to fix my situation. Can liquid silicone be removed from lips and make them normal again? Please help!!!!
I've always been allergic to latex. If I wear a band aid that has latex in it within hours I will get blisters in the shape of the band aid. I'm not really finding a lot of info online about latex allergy in correlation with getting lip injections. Is there any risk?
I had a doctor do a test patch of hyalase on my hand. He said I am allergic as the area turned red and was itchy for a while. After about an hour the patch returned to normal. I desperately hate the filler in my top lip and I was wondering if there is any way to have my lips dissolved in stages? Perhaps a tiny bit like in the patch test but not enough to cause anaphylaxis? I do not care if this will cost me a lot of money I want it gone and don't think I can wait it out!
