I have been having laser hair removal with alexandrite for almost two years now. The bikini area is almost neat with some hair regrowing on the labia still. However, hair on the thighs grows back almost everywhere as though no follicle was eliminated, not the same thickness but the same density. I had my last session two months ago, and it's costy, I am wondering why the hair is growing back so fast after just two months while it's my 13th session, and can I space them for 4 months?
I had laser hair removal professionally done. During the pandemic, I had purchased an at home laser for the few pesky hairs that I was still trying to get rid of. About 1 year ago, the laser accidentally slipped out of my grip & I burned the outside of my labia. I didn't notice until showering, that the area had turned completely white. The skin has healed but remains white. It is mostly smooth but also slightly rough. Is there anything I can do to help with the discoloration.
I've done 3 sessions of LHR and noticed that the hair in my labial area continues to grow in the same thickness while the bikini area is already growing thin or not growing at all, I'm scared that at the end of my procedure the labial area will grow back thick, is it possible?
Ive got scars and bumps that always come back and sometime are cystic and mostly from ingrown hairs. Ive been to doctor and health clinic and nothing. Im considering trying laser hair removal, will this help get rid of the bumps and scars? I need help
I have my second brazilian laser session 2 weeks ago. The area was fine during the first 48 hours however as each day goes by the skin around outer labia started to peel (like it is really dry) and i am starting to feel increasing discomfort especially at the top part. The area now feels that there is an open wound (the skin would lightly stick to my underpants). Is this a normal reaction to laser? Am I getting this burn due to laser or hair regrowth?
After 5 days I called and was told to take Benadryl and apply hydrocortisone cream. After 11 days I called back and was told never to put that cream there and to use aloe. Now a month later, I still feel a mild discomfort that comes and goes, but it looks normal, so have not seen a doctor. Could this be permanent??
I have noticed that my labia is much darker than it used to be and I'm considering to have a laser whitening treatment but I also would like to have my pubic hair remove first. I'm from latin-america and have tanned skin. My question is whether it is safe to have both treatments and if I may get in fact even darker skin for having laser twice.
How can I help it grow fuller and thicker and go back to natural as it was? I did one laser session in all genital area in September (2m ago) and immediately regretted it. I can see the hair grew but not the same quantity jand thickness, specially in the labia/top. Is shaving an option? I feel quite sad with my decision. I did some years ago bikini and under arms and loved it. But not in genitals: I prefer it total covered with hair, it's too sensitive using jeans and for working out. Thanks
On Fri.3/11,I had laser hair removal at the MediSpa at my plastic surgeons office. Treatment given by nurse. Intense pain and swelling during and shortly after treatment. Called ps next day for silvadine cream. Saw nurse at office on sun.for eval. Given hydroquinine cream to use before add'l lasering. Many areas have blistered and peeled. Intense pain and discomfort. I am scared to have add'l laser treatments down there. Will these scars be permanent? This can't be a normal reaction? HELP?!!
