Hello abrazillianj.  The short answer is no.  You should not get this reaction after laser.  You need to speak to your provider.  From your pictures, it looks like you have burns and they could be at risk for infection.  At Monroe Comprehensive Laser Center, we follow some simple rules.  First, we make sure that the right laser is being used for the right patient.  Skin types 1 thru 3 and Asian type 4 need the alex laser for hair removal.  Skin types 5 and 6 need the yag laser for hair removal.  IF the wrong laser is used, the patient can be harmed or burned, get discoloration that could be permanent or worse.  We also recommend that no shaving, plucking, tanning or waxing for at least two weeks before or after laser.  We also recommend no lotions, tanners, tanning accelerators for at least two weeks before or after treatment.  By following these rules we have not had any incidences of burns or other complications.  Please make sure that your provider is following these important safety rules.
