I recently received Volbella for lip lines and experienced a vascular occlusion. It was discovered quickly, and my physician resolved the problem before there was tissue damage. The grey-blue color faded, and capillary refill was restored. However, it has been 3 weeks, and still have some inflamed-looking capillaries and other faint discoloration. My physician says we can do some IPL in 4-5 weeks to remove the redness, etc. Is it safe to have IPL 6-8 weeks after the occlusion? Should I wait?
I felt pain while she was doing the IPL but it wasn't unbearable so she kept doing it, right after the IPL she did RF i had some bruising right after she finished with the RF ,three days after i had blisters in some areas.I feel completely horrible, Im scared to death this is going to leave discoloration and scarring. I've been communicating with the person who did my treatment and she says its going to get better with time so basically just wait.I'd like a second opinion just to ease my mind.
I had one IPL session for acne redness 3 weeks ago. I didn't shave prior to treatment (since I just don't like shaving) and just trimmed my facial hair short (about half an inch). A diffuse area of my beard was singed and looked curled. Most of curled hair, kept growing for about a week. Then, some started to fall out. I shaved out of panic. The treated area looked bare for a week. Now I see some short fine hair+small black dots in close look. The wavelength was 480 nm. Skin type III-Dark hair
Had a IPL 3 weeks ago my skin feels very dry and rough. My make up won't stay on it looks cracked and dry you could see it so bad. I never had this problem before what should I do. My face is at its worst. I'm not putting nothing harsh or extra stuff to it just simple gentle cleansing daily and moisturizing cetaphil with spf 30
Will those white patches go back to normal? It has been three weeks. I had it done years ago and my legs were a little pinkish and got great results. This time around purple scabs formed then peeled after three weeks and I was left with this.
I had a mole removed with IPL - laser 3 weeks ago and the scar seems to have sunken in to form a degression or a small hole. Should I apply regular vaseline, aloe gel or La Rouches Cicaplast (said to speed up recovery and promote collagen cell growth) to this area now? Or does Cicaplast work as to shrink scars therby sinking mine down even more?
I am a 31 y.o I've been seen by a nurse not a doctor and I asked her if its helpful to do IPL for Keratosis Pilaris dark spots and pigments at my buttocks area and behind and in between thighs and she said yes of ofcourse! So, I had an IPL treatment 19 days ago at (Laser Away) in San Francisco. Burns all over the area. Their office didn't respond. A dermatologist prescribed Neosporin_Hydrocortisone. What to do for Hyperpigmentation after flakes?
