IPL laser burned my abdomen, is this ever going to get better? Am I getting the color back? Its been 3wks since my IPL/RF appt

Looks like your skin is burned.  I would recommend keeping a Growth factor serum and cream to help speed up the healing and minimize any chance of scarring.  You will also need to keep it out of the sun and keep a Physical sunscreen on. 

First and foremost this definitely looks like a burn. You should never have what we call "Track Marks" left behind on the skin from the passes.  I don't know what kind of IPL machine they have as there are many different ones out there with different strengths. Also depending on the RF System they have it could have just been too much for your skin to handle in one service.I advise clients who have damage like this to resist the urge to pick at the skin and use anti inflammatory skin care products. We use SkinCeuticals so I can speak for those products with certainty and I would use Phyto Corrective Gel, Phyto Corrective Masque. I would recommend to stay out of the sun as well. if you are going to be out in the sun WEAR 50 SPF Zinc Oxide would be best as your skin is still recovering.  I would also advise to not go in and get a second or third treatment till you are fully healed. Skin is very resilient and can heal it self fairly well however with Hypo pigmentation it can be a long recovery. Hope this gives some peace of mind and if you ever
