Had a tear through filler in 2022 with high density hyaluronic acid that gave me permanent edema on the right side. This year I decided to dissolve it, but after 3 rounds of ultrasound guided hualuronidase (36 U total) and one more round with 40 U, nothing changed, the lump is still there when I frown or smile, except that my skin appears more wrinkled by Hyaluronidase. Why it doesnt dissolve and what can I do? Im losing hope.
Hello, I got what I thought was a very tiny bit of filler in the year trough area. It has created the results you see here in the photo. I look like Ive aged 20 years! Ive gone in for both hyaluronidase and hylenex 6 times now. The last time a combo of hyaluronidase and steroid injection. This is the after result of that. The bags just keep coming back, and now the skin looks dry and wrinkled as well. Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
I had filler to the tear trough a 6 wks ago (revanesse ultra). This blocked my lymphatics on the right side, causing extreme swelling. As a result, I have done two dissolver sessions with hyaluronidase - with some improvement. However, I now have 4 swollen lumps at each of the injection sites where the dissolver was injected. I am told that it's just my body's reaction to a needle (inflammation), but the marks remain after 3 weeks, unchanged. Please tell me what they are and how to treat!
I've had tear trough filler and now a month has passed by and i see that my left eye is over filled (it makes my cheek look puffy somehow next to my nose) my question is can i get just a small area (the one that's bothering me) dissolved and not the whole filler? Thank you.
Had a tear though filler in June 2022 with high density hyaluronic acid. Since then, I have reddish marks under both my eyes at rest, and when smiling or frowning two big lumps under both my eyes. Since January 2024 Ive gone through 3 rounds of ultrasound guided hyaluronidase per eye, 12 Units every round, to little or no avail: lumps are still quite noticeable in backlights. Ultrasound shows no more nodules, but there could be more in eye socket. What else could be done?
Had a shot of Hyaluronidase (12 U) to treat a 2 years old tear trough edema caused by poorly placed, highly cross linked, hyaluronic filler (ultrasound revealed it was injected inside orbicularis and lip elevator muscles). Sadly US also revealed that it was fragmented in many tiny particles infiltrating muscular fibers. That one shot was smooth and without sides but it only deflated a bit my lump: its still there. What could be done to get rid of it?
I received a shot of 12 U of Hyaluronidase to treat a 2 years old tear trough edema caused by a highly cross linked hyaluronic filler injected by mistake inside orbicularis and lip elevator muscles (ultrasound revealed that it was fragmented in tiny particles infiltrating muscular fibers). Even after 12 U of Hyaluronidase the permanent edema reduced very little, but the lump is still there. What could be done now?
I am a 32 year old female. I had about 6 years of Restylane and Restylane Lyft filler placed around my tear troughs as they were pretty hollow to begin with. I started to notice a lot of fluid retention under my eyes and decided to get a little bit dissolved. My injector used about 27 units of hyelenx under both eyes. I am now concerned about the indentation under my eyes and am wondering if multiple treatments of PRF will help this? Or would filler or surgery be needed to give the best result?
Hello, I had tear trough injections three weeks ago. I had two immediate occurring lumps and returned to have massage and then try to dissolve with hyularonadaise. The dissolver did nothing. I do know with certainty that it was Juvederm. The actual hyularonadasie injections felt much deeper than the original injections. I am seeing the owner of the practice this week and am afraid of trying more, is it worth it or should I just wait and how long would this conceivably last?
