Help - unresolved swelling at injection site (hyaluronidase)

I had filler to the tear trough a 6 wks ago (revanesse ultra). This blocked my lymphatics on the right side, causing extreme swelling. As a result, I have done two dissolver sessions with hyaluronidase - with some improvement. However, I now have 4 swollen lumps at each of the injection sites where the dissolver was injected. I am told that it's just my body's reaction to a needle (inflammation), but the marks remain after 3 weeks, unchanged. Please tell me what they are and how to treat!

There are individuals who get an inflammatory response to injections. However, if you have had prior injections without an inflammatory reaction, then it is likely the explanation for what is going on is less likely to be this. The most likely explanation is the superficial placement of a filler that is generally place in deeper locations. This products will be broken down throughly with the appropriate dose of hyaluronidase, the enzyme that breaks down these fillers. Your challenge may be working with an injector choose to place this filler in this location. It is also to get a sufficiently large dose of enzyme to remove the filler. Baby “squirts” of enzyme are not going to get the job done. You might consider getting another opinion.
