Doctor has diagnosed female hairloss as a natural recession and no illness, so for hair transplant would shaving head be necessary? What medications or supplements can be used to present further loss of hair?
Dear Doctor, Is there any kind of food to avoid or to focus on, so as to help in stimulating hair growth? It is my 15 day post FUE op. PLus, Is there any recommended vitamin supplement product that I can buy to promote hair growth after an FUE? Thank you.
It's been 7 months since my second hair transplant surgery and I can see results, however, i read on an article that creatine increases DHT hormone in your blood which leads to hair loss, I've been taking creatine for a month now (only 5g a day) because i go to the gym 5-6 times a week, and i want to know if it's going to affect growth or anything? Should i stop taking it? Plus i wear hats all the time but not tight so does that affect too?
My surgeon told me to start taking zinc and multivitamin after six months of your transplant. However on the other hand my friend was told to start taking it after a month as soon as the scabs are gone. Could you tell me the correct answer please as I don't wana delay taking the multivitamin and zinc supplement as they are very helpful for my hair growth? My current hair looks like this after 5 weeks of transplant, I have lost almost more than half of my hair... Many thanks, Kind regards, Mansoor
I had a H.T. 2 months ago in the upper forehead area and a month ago I started going to the gym. After my H.T. I started using finasteride 1 mg daily along with topical treatment on the scalp because I also have thinning hair on the crown. I want to ask if it is safe to start taking protein supplements like whey protein or amino acids or protein bars to increase my muscle mass. Also I use a human growth releaser before bed called Secratropin, but I use only 2 caps instead of 5 it writes on it
