Protein Supplements after a Hair Transplant? (photo)

Question

I had a H.T. 2 months ago in the upper forehead area and a month ago I started going to the gym. After my H.T. I started using finasteride 1 mg daily along with topical treatment on the scalp because I also have thinning hair on the crown. I want to ask if it is safe to start taking protein supplements like whey protein or amino acids or protein bars to increase my muscle mass. Also I use a human growth releaser before bed called Secratropin, but I use only 2 caps instead of 5 it writes on it

The short answer is yes.  You can certainly return to taking nutritional supplements pretty much immediately following a hair restoration procedure.  They are not going to hurt anything, and the extra protein may in fact aid in growing your hair to be as full as it can be.

You need to make sure your doctor is aware you are using these supplements.  In general, vitamins and supplements can be taken without any issue.
