Answer: What to eat and which supplements to take following a hair transplant If you get a well balanced diet, the chances are excellent that you are getting everything you need to support the health and well being of your procedure. There are some things to consider. Make you you get biotin in your diet. Silica is also important. Iron is important because you do not want to produce an iron deficient anemia. This is not common in men unless something more severe is going on. Vitamin D is also important. Sometimes we are deficient in our vitamins and we don't know it unless we test for them. Therefore, a good B-complex and Vitamin D3 can be beneficial following a hair transplant. Finally, it is important to avoid crash diets. I've seen individuals who had their stomach stapled or banded and this caused much of their transplant hair to fall out because they had protein wasting and a far too aggressive form of weight loss.

Answer: After FUE Actually, you don’t require any medicine to grow your transplanted hair. It is always advisable to have a really balanced diet, which most of the times is not possible. So I recommend you to look at some supplements that covers Anti-oxidants, Biotin, Vitamin D, Iron, Vitamin B & proteins in amounts required for hair growth. Further you should also be careful about crash dieting to lose weight etc. Further, Minoxidil & finasteride should also be given in planned manner to help the growth further.

Answer: Is there any specific food supplement or vitamin that promotes hair growth after a hair transplant? There is no specific food supplement or vitamin that promotes hair growth after a hair transplant. In a healthy individual who has a balanced diet, hairs will find enough food, vitamins and minerals to grow healthily. The only good thing you can do is use finasteride and or minoxidil which are medications that protect against future male pattern hair loss and improve the caliber of partially miniaturised hairs.
