How long after hair transplant, can I start taking zinc and multivitamin supplements? (photos)

Question

My surgeon told me to start taking zinc and multivitamin after six months of your transplant. However on the other hand my friend was told to start taking it after a month as soon as the scabs are gone. Could you tell me the correct answer please as I don't wana delay taking the multivitamin and zinc supplement as they are very helpful for my hair growth? My current hair looks like this after 5 weeks of transplant, I have lost almost more than half of my hair... Many thanks, Kind regards, Mansoor

You can probably take vitamins after surgery.  If you are concerned about this, it is best to ask your doctor first.

Vitamins are a great addition to your hair restoration program.  Make sure you check your vitamin D level.  You can start taking these vitamins right away.

You can start your normal vitamin regimen the day after surgery. In fact most transplant clinics adhere to this rule.

You can begin taking those vitamins immediately after your procedure and in fact they will help with your recovery and healing.  Make sure you are taking them in the recommended dosages.

You can take these vitamins when ever you want provided that the dose is within the recommended daily dose. Over doses cause hair loss of these vitamins
