I received a hair transplant about 5 months ago. I feel like the transplanted area is growing, however my donor area looks really bad. Im confident they over harvested but they keep telling me its just shock loss. I dont think theyre being honest with me and was hoping to get another opinion and advice on what to do next.
I've had my HT in July 2022 (5mo post op). After a month all of them fell out and it all started growing back. When I study I tend to sit with my head above the books all days and I noticed that some of the transplanted hair sometimes, not in large numbers but still fall out on the books. They are not native hair because of different thickness. I have noticeably thicker hair on my donor area thus the ones falling from the front are transplanted hair. Is this normal?
5 nonths after I make hp I see very good result on my left side, but I can't say it for my left, i see not much hair on middle of this side. I know there need 5 to 14 months to see results but I'm afraid because I was used at this place whi h have no hairs a skin cream 3 weeks after hair transplant. So how do I know if I will get hairs at this place or not
I have done my hair transplant 5 months ago. The doctor used my beard as a donor area and this part now has less density than the rest of the beard and it is not improving (shock-loss or over-harvested?). The representative of the clinic suggested me to use Minoxidil Rogaine 5 mg to get the hair back but I don't like what I read about its side-effects and the need to use it for a life-time! Do you think Minoxidil can be an effective solution to my problem? is it worth taking the risk in my case?
its been 5 months since my ht, im kinda happy with the result so far, but lately i feel like my skin is to dry and like my head is itchy, whats the best medication or shampo? I'm only using vitamins right now
Attached are photos of donor ,5 day after transplant and 5 month after transplant. Extremely tensed, my surgeon saying it will sort out after 8 months. Grafts removed was somewhere between 3000 - 3500 and I used to have very high dense hair at back.
I got an FUT procedure done in January to correct my hairline, I went with a TOP recommended doctor, one of the most reputable. I am 5.5 months out and I am a little worried because a lot of the grafts on my hairline are not single and I am thinking it might make the appearance look pluggy. I have a lot of triple and doubles in the very front, is this normal. I read an article that said ONLY single grafts should be used for the front of the hairline.
