After 4-6 months of a hair transplant, you should start to see some growth. At 8 months, 80% of the transplanted hairs are expected to grow. At 12 months, you should expect almost all hairs to grow.

5 months post operation period should give you approximately 30% of permanent hair growth. To improve the results you can use supplements like biotin and multivitamins.

5 months post operative is the time when all transplanted hair started growing back, but you should understand that we are all different and some patients can see thick and full haired head by 5-6 month post operative, some of the patients have to wait till 8-12 to see the result. Most of my patients seeing 50-60% of results by 6 months post op. 

By the 5th months, most often the hair that was transplanted will have started to grow and by the 8th month, 80% of the hair will grow to styling length
