Is hair loss 5 months post hair transplant normal?

I've had my HT in July 2022 (5mo post op). After a month all of them fell out and it all started growing back. When I study I tend to sit with my head above the books all days and I noticed that some of the transplanted hair sometimes, not in large numbers but still fall out on the books. They are not native hair because of different thickness. I have noticeably thicker hair on my donor area thus the ones falling from the front are transplanted hair. Is this normal?

First of all, five months after surgery you are not seeing the full result yet. Typically takes about one year to see the final result after hair transplant. Second, transplanted follicles though follow the behavior of the donor site, which usually are taken from the more testosterone resistant back of scalp area, can still fall off like any regular hair. Normal people have about 50 to 100 hair fall off on a daily basis.
