At just 5 months after hair transplant, not seeing much growth in one area is not concerning. Growth can continue 12 to 18 months after surgery. If you are concerned about not seeing growth due to the use of a specific cream, I recommend discussing this concern with your surgeon.In the meantime, you can ask for a second opinion on the cream in question or research the cream online to see if its side effects include hair loss.

It may take six to twelve months to appreciate the results of a hair transplant surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

I use the SmartGraft system.  We are careful in terms of follow up the first month to make sure everything regrading recovery is stable.  you will have to wait another  5-7 months for your result.

At 5 months post op it is too early to see results from the hair transplant procedure. Before and after photos are taken at 1 year.

By the 8th month, if one side grew well and the other side did not, the team of technicans who worked on the side that did not grow mayh not have been as experienced as those that worked on the side where growth was good.  Speak with your doctor and your doctor shold make it 'right'
