I am 3 months post op after gynecomastia surgery with a very experienced surgeon. After a cool shower the results look fantastic as my nipples are completely tight and normal looking. Unfortunately when I'm warm and relaxed my nipples seem to protrude. I can go from moobs when I wake up to a fantastic chest 2 minutes later after a cool shower. Will my nipple ever go back to being constantly tight around my pecs and normal looking all or the time? Thanks for any advice
Hi, I had puffy nipple surgery 3 months ago, just an incision around the areola and breast tissue removed (around half a chicken nugget) the surgeon said. One nipple looks slightly inverted and upon bending forward of flexing pectoral muscles both nipples sink, quite dramatically. I've read this could be scar tethering, or over resection, or both. Ive booked back in with the surgeon tomorrow to ask him but just wondered what other people thoght and what can be done. Thanks in advance
I had gyno surgery 86 days ago and have just had my last checkup. My doc said everything is good but I still think it looks like gyno. The left side still has puffiness under and slightly around the nipple making a protruding look. Right nipple is less puffy. I can see the puffiness through shirts and makes me worried its permanent. I know theres scar tissue under the nipple but dont see how it would cause the soft and puffy nipple. puffiness seems to be worst the day after massaging the scar
Hello there, i am 1year and 5months post op from gynecomasty with double incision. I started to massage my scars when I was 3months post op, but somehow my scars are a bit like raised. Now I wanted to know is it pointless to massage my scars with cocoa butter and use cocoa butter on them to flatten them as I am now 1year and 5 months post op? P.s I used cocoa butter for like 4months, and everytime I put cocoa butter on my scars they got smooth and flat but once I stopped they are same as before
I can feel a little mass under my right nipple, which pains specially in cold nights. My doctor told me to use compressive shirts (see photo) for one year to stick the skin to the body. Also, he recommend me to workout (done). Do you know another recommendation to stick the skin to the body? Some way to get rid off scar tissue quickly? Thank you all!!
I know 3 months is still within the healing phase but this seems to be just getting worse. Ive developed a significant crease/fold in the areola, which also makes it point downward. Its only there when areola relaxed, not as noticeable when stimulated/cold. I dont feel any hard to tissue underneath. This was lipo only (had previous gynecomastia surgery 12 years ago where they removed gland and fat. This was supposed to be a touch up). Could this be over-suctioning and now no volume? What are my options to fix?
I had Gynecomastia surgery 3 months ago and my chest was very flat after surgery, however after 4-5 weeks i noticed my chest starting to fill out and now it is not as flat as it was after surgery and i can also feel the hard tissue under my right nipple. Im scared this may be returning so soon after my procedure. Why has my chest filled out? I have read that after tissue is removed it can not come back? Does that mean it wont ever come back as bad if it did return? Please help?
It's quite a bit. My pecks feel like waterbeds. How long will this continue? When the doctor pulls fluid out it looks great besides the fluid that settles on the side above the rib. But then it comes back slowly and I need to get it removed after another 2 weeks or so. He says it will all go away. eventually. I can hear fluid slosh around in there. It's crazy. Like I said it's been 3 months since I had it done.. He did remove 2lbs of tissue from each side.. I don't know if that matters or not.
