I had FUE procedure 5 months ago. It is noticibly thicker on left side than the right. But, even on the right, it seems quite spread out and you can clearly see the scalp between the hairs when looking at it, even from a slight distance. Also, the recipient area is still a bit red, which I understand unusual at 5 months. does not hurt/ not warm to touch just a little red still. I understand more growth will come, but looking at the pictures, might I expect enough to close gaps and hide scalp?
Hi there My skin is still bright red at recipient site 8 months after procedure. Healing is fine otherwise. No itching or pain. Hair is growing in. Surgeon has tried steroid creams and hydroquinone with no result. Also consulted with dermatologist who made similar recommendations and advised against lasers to correct pigment as they may damage follicles. I'm really at a loss. There's been no change in months. Any advice? Would hate to live with this for life.
Hello doctors! 23 days ago I had FUE (3500 grafts). My donor area is still very red. Also sometimes it is itching a lot. My doctor told me that this is completely normal and it will take some time to disappear. However, I think that it is unusual. Should I use some ointments which can help me to reduce this redness? Or maybe some other medications? Thanks for your help!
Hello, I had a hair transplant 3 months and 22 days ago (1700 grafts, FUE). There is still redness in recipient area and I think that growing hair is pretty weak and sparse, especially in the front of my forehead. Please provide any feedback. I know its too early to judge but I've seen better results after 4 months while searching on google. Thanks.
16/5/19 I done hair transplant using fue method. The same day my neck become reddish next day look like bruising with burning feel. Then it appeared front neck then back of left ear. Feel like it's spreading. When will it heal? Is it normal pls advise
I had an FUE Hair Transplant 40 days ago and this is how the donor area currently looks. I had 2000 grafts transplanted. Will SMP be my only option to correct this? And is it normal for the back of my head to be red for this long? Thank you in advance
Hi, I've started to develop some nasty looking pimples that are sore to the touch about a month after my FUE. Is this normal? I'm worried it's folliculitis. I have contacted my doctor and am awaiting a response. Thank you.
I had an fue a year ago. The doctor seemed inexperienced and I can't go back for aftercare as it was in another country. My current predicament is discolouration in recipient area, this is not sun burn. Why may this be and how to care or make better
