Hi docs! About 160 days ago I had a fue hair transplant. It's been some time and my recipient area is still very patchy with little growth. I've seen photos online where people just 6 months post-op have amazing results. Is it too early to tell whether my HT was a failure? I did everything as advised by the clinic. I slept properly, was very cautious with the recipient area. Day ten I started massaging it gently while washing, lots of crust came off. Thank you for the answers.
I am 11 months post fue. I have full, healthy hair, never experienced hair loss. I had a transplant to reduce my forehead size. I have posted a photo of my day of post-op and a photo of my results now. I am fine with both of my sides. However, there are patches in the center of my hairline Im concerned with. Is it likely this hair will grow? Is PRP a good option, or is it likely not going to lead to results because the grafts/ follicles cannot be recovered and I should do a 2nd fue instead?
I am a transgender detransitioner and regret the laser I used to lessen my beard. I am looking to add on to both my hairline and fix my patchy beard. It was lessened through laser and looks awful. Ive tried regain and just starting medical rogaine.
It has been 6 months and 20 days since my FUE where I had 1200 grafts planted on a relatively small area in my hairline and I see a very patchy result. Also my left side hair is growing faster than right
I had an FUE hair transplant procedure just under one month ago, with 2000 grafts along my hairline. At this point there is significant shock loss which has made the area patchy and unpleasant to look at. I've been gently clipping the area with a small pair of scissors recently, but is it possible for me to (very carefully) use a gilette multi-blade razor to shave down the recently grafted hairs until they fully sprout?
I have had a FUE hair transplant in Oct 2018 for my hairline (1500 grafts). It's been 5 months and my concern is with my donor area. My donor area though recovered, i can see some bald patches and it is somewhat visible.Photos attached The right side is more visible and people can make out that something is amiss. My question is since i am 5 months over my procedure, will my donor area improve or will it remain the same?? my doctor said it will improve.
