Hello doctor, I am not sure if this is a pimple or an infection? Maybe an ingrown hair? Is there any thing I should use for it? This is the one pimple on my recipent area. It came up like 2 weeks ago and hasnt shown any signs of leaving . Is there a cream or something I should buy to use for it? I tried neosporin and it didnt work. I am about a year post fue now.
After FUE (10 days later), i see an blind pimple on my transplant area and there is no hair seen which i suspect there is ingrown hair in it. Will the hair root implanted to this spot become dead and resulted in no hair grown in the coming months?
19 days post FUE, 1800 grafts. I have some blood scabs and divots like holes under them, wet to see my USA clinic where I had it done, response was never seen this before as well no hair shedding, its growing with some ingrown.
I recently had 3000 Grafts placed in the frontal part of my head and I noticed 13 days post op that a few of my donor sites had ingrowns . It was not just a bump from healing - it actually had hairs in them . Can it be that some of the follicle was left behind or the tissue ? And can it be that I will still grow hair on those few donor grafts ?
I recently had a FUE procedure done, I'm 2 weeks post-op. My donor area has broke out into alot of pimples. My doner area is sensitive and painful and also itches alot. I have finished all my antibiotics and was told by the medical office that performed my FUE this is normal and I should wash my hair with baby shampoo x2 a day and use warm towels to pop the pimples (ingrown hairs). This has not been working, I have been researching and all I can find is that FUE is not good for curly hair.
I am 20 post op fue. I notice I have a few ingrown hairs in my recipient area. Just wondering if there is a shampoo to help with inflammation, fungal, bacteria, dandruff, ingrown hairs and flaky scalp? Was looking at shampoos like Nizoral and pure tea tree oil shampoo. Or maybe there's another shampoo better than those two that I just mentioned. Is there any specific shampoos you would recommend to combat those things I listed above?
