Hey guys, I had an FUE transplant 6 weeks ago whereby I received 1500 grafts to fix a receding Norwood 2 hairline, and to lower it a few centimeters as well. I've gone through the shedding phase where about 90% of my transplanted hairs have fallen out. But recently, I've been noticing tiny, white/clear hairs sprouting where I received my transplanted grafts. I've been using minoxidil since the 2nd week post-op, and was just wondering if this is a sign of early growth?
Hello, I am into my 6th weeks post fue, and I noticed more grey hairs than before the transplant in my donor area. Is it normal and will remain like that now? I've made research on internet about the situation, but there is not much sources about this phenomenon, expect an article speaking about this side effect on wanted Rooney ( british Footballer). Thank you in advance for your time and answers.
I was been told that my transplanted hairs will shed in the first month after hair transplantation. Only 10 percent of transplanted hairs have shed and others have started to grow at different rates and directions. Is this normal? Moreover i still feel etching at the transplanted area sometimes and sensation at donor area when scrubbing. Is this expected?
Im now 6 weeks post FUE and donor area had many pimples and veg itchy. My doctor said this normal and I cant find anywhere on the net who has had anything similar. Im convinced its a infection. Doctor aid these are ingrown hairs and will go within 3 months. Just so itchy. Can I have a second opinion please. Hope someone can help
Am I safe from shock loss? I had hair transplant 6 weeks ago. So far I don't feel I have shock loss on my native hair. 1. Am I safe from shock loss? 2. Doctor transplanted about 1 cm into my hairline.Over time, without taking medication, does transplanted hair affect surrounding native hair? I heard that hair transplant can accelerate surrounding native hair to fall, but is this side effect one time thing? (due to the transplantation procedure) or it keeps affecting native hair? (due to the existence of transplanted hair)
FUE HT, Bumps on head 6 weeks after procedure (mushy, nodular, not painful, in the DONOR AREA ONLY. Been on antibiotics, no change. Had a culture, not bactieral / folliculitis. Dr. has not responded to what he thinks is the issue. Has anyone seen this before? will upload pics if there is a response. Super edgy about this.
6 weeks ago I had fue 2000 graft's, most of the transplanted hair has fallen out which I'm not worried that much about, its the redness around the area. I was wondering if there is something I could be doing to help it like creams, tablets or maybe PRP someone please help, also the pictures don't really do the redness justice. Thanks
It's been about 6 weeks since I've had my FUE hair transplant done. My doctor told me after 1 month I can resume kickboxing, wrestling, and MMA. I understand that after 10 days your grafts are in place and there's almost no way you can ruin them. Now I compete in these sports so I will be taking shots to the head from professionals, am I okay to go ahead and start training now that I'm 6 weeks post op?
Hi everyone, I had my FUE of 4700 grafts in Istanbul 45 days ago, pictures attached for first day, 15 days,21 days and 45 days post operation. I have now mixed new hair and transplanted hair, however, density is quite low, besides, from time to time, I develop some redness that transforms to acne like things that produce a white secretion similar to pus, I treat that with local antibiotic and disappears after 2-3 days. Would you please let me know if this density and redness normal? Thanks a lot
I had a 3000 graft fue 6 weeks ago, when the hairs started shedding about 3 weeks after my FUE I noticed many of them where kinked almost double at the root. Im worried that this means theu were incorrectly placed and bent on the way in. Is this possible ot am i worrying about nothing?
