I got Fraxel 1550 done 6 days ago and my skin is breaking out TERRIBLY. The first few days my face was swollen, red, and began to flake. The past two days my skin has began getting more irritated. It looks the worst that it ever has!!! Deep red bumps are covering my jawline and chin. I have only the post treatment kit to treat my face. I am on spirolactone for hormonal acne and my medspa lady did treat my skin pretty aggressively. Is this a normal and should I be (more worried) than I already am?
I'm on day 7 post Fraxel Dual for my eyes. I don't know what settings were used but it was my first session and I had it done for fine lines. Recovery has been fine; I swelled but I didn't really peel. I didn't get any of the weird texture changes that people seem to talk about on this site. So all in all I am back to normal. However, my under eye lines almost look worse and I seem to have a slight purplish tint under my eyes that wasn't so strong before. Is this normal? Is it likely to go away?
I had Fraxel Dual under my eyes done a week ago from a reputable skin centre and I didn't peel. Now the treated area is quite rough/sandpaper-y to touch and looks dry. I have been applying moisturiser and cleansing gently and avoiding sun at all costs. I am very scared after reading reviews of damage and orange peel skin. What is happening? Will this improve? The treated area looks not very good, I have really soft smooth skin and did this for fine lines.
After doing fraxel laser i woke up with red blisters on my nose it has been 8 days that i did my fraxel treatment and its my third session. How can this be explained? Im so worried about this. Waiting for a reply Thank you
I had erbium glass fractionated laser done 6 days ago. At the moment my face feels like sandpaper and is very obviously red/brown where the laser contacted my skin. How long till my face feels smooth and redness goes away? I work outside. I avoided the sun for the first 4 days but I had to return to work. I have a spf 50 broad sunscreen that I'm wearing (I waited the 5 days advised by my derm) makeup and a baseball cap. Will this be enough protection? I am worried considering I have olive skin.
I got a fraxel laser done for my acne scarring on June 28th. So far my skin has healed up pretty well with all the dead skin peeled off. Its been 9 days but on my post op instructions it says to avoid strenuous exercise for a week or so so Im curious to when its okay for me to be working out again?
third Fraxel done 9 days ago. leg condition could benefit from a short Prednisone course or NSAID. The schedule is 6 days: 24, 20, ..., 4 mg for a total of 81mg. fraxel scheduled again in 4 weeks so if I take the course I will get Fraxel 3 weeks after I am done. How long does it take to heal after a treatment? Am I still healing? will the Prednisone course interfere with healing? And how long will Prednisone remain in my body? will it interfere with the upcoming laser recovery? Thanks.
I have a scar on my lower right abdomen and went in for fraxel treatment a week ago. I was reading previous comments left by doctors that said after 7 days the sandpaper brown spots should be gone. I still have mine as if it was just as rough as a third day. Just curious if being of Hispanic ethnicity and light tanned skin tone would reflect the healing process time wise?
