Is it possible to reverse facial fat transfer? Right side has noticeably more fat than the left side

Question

Had facial fat transfer year ago to treat my hollow under eyes and dark circles. My right side needed more fat to get a balanced and natural end result. Thus, surgeon injected 6ml to the right side and 4ml to the left, and now even after 12 months of the procedure I don't like the result as I feel I have too much fat on my right side and in the cheekbone. This makes my right side more inflated vs. the left and there is a slight bump on the right side. Any way to reduce fat on my right side?

The human phase is fairly as symmetric in all people.The primary asymmetry is usually in the skeletal structure and not soft tissue coverage.Attempts, correcting asymmetry with soft tissue manipulation typically just creates two different asymmetries.Without including proper before and after pictures, we can’t really assess the outcome of your procedure.Removing previously grafted fat in this area is difficult.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
