Does fat grafting require a high amount of specialized skill?

Would fat grafting in india (I dont live their), be risky and would you say fat grafting requires a high amount of skill. I want it done to the supra orbitals(upper eyelid) and tear trough lines under the eye.

Dear Caring219060, Thank you for your question. The answer, in short, is 'yes' - fat grafting, like all cosmetic surgery, does require a great deal of skill on numerous bases. The anatomical region in which you indicate a desire for it attracts particular risks, including blindness. Further, having cosmetic surgery abroad attracts its own risks including but not limited to clinical assessment, operative facility, instrument sterility and post operative care. I would counsel you to be particularly cautious about such endeavour and advise that you seek professional guidance in Australia from a specialist plastic surgeon trained and experienced in aesthetic surgery. I performed periorbital fat grafting for about 30 years. Based on that experience I would say that it is the most difficult area to treat! Mistakes like over-grafting, lumpiness, irregularities, asymmetries are very frequent and may result in deformities that can never be resolved. I hope this helps.
