I want to try facetite to tighten the saggy skin under my neck (2 vertical bands hanging down). I have watched videos of the procedure and I'm worried about the probe hitting/heating a nerve and causing some sort of throat, neck, facial paralysis or numbness/weakness. Is this a possibility? Also, how much swelling is there afterwards and does it feel like you can't breathe in your throat? Thank you.
I had facetite with neck liposuction 5 weeks ago. I still have swelling and lumpiness under my chin and my jowls are still there. The PA at the office where I had the procedure says I have to wait 3-6 months to see final result. I am concerned that the jowls are not going to tighten. Am I being impatient? The facetite brochure states immediate results with little or no downtime which hasn't been in my case. Thank you for any input.
I was told Im perfect candidate, 49 year old female requiring minimal tightening of jowels, Little to no Lipo needed. I was given a lot of local anesthesia before and during procedure.
I have significant facial swelling post-procedure, to the point I won't even leave the house. I was prescribed 6-day oral steroids to combat this however the side effects are alarming so I'm hesitant to take it. I have 2 additional weeks before I have to go back to work. Any amount of facial swelling is unacceptable. Any suggestions as to which route (holistic vs. steroids), considering my aesthetic standards, would be much appreciated.
