Hi I was not a right canditate for an eyebrow lift or eyelid surgery but the surgeon I saw convinced me I Was I was so against the eyebrow lift because I loved my eyebrows, but he insisted and believed him. My eyes were almond shape, and I had a low set of eyebrows and now my eyes are round , and my eyebrows are way too high how can I correct this? maybe upper eyelid fat or filler? what do you recommend please
Im not sure if this is exactly correct but I think my eyes are way to high on my face. It causes me to have an ugly smile. When I smile only about half of my upper teeth show and my lip curves in the middle. My bottom teeth also show a good about when I smile. I want to upgrade my entire look. Also does my cheek or mouth protrude a lot or is it just because my eyes are too high. What kind of procedures can be done to make my face look better. Can be invasive. Would rather permanent options. M18
I am six weeks post upper bleph procedure. I am concerned that the incision/scar placement is far too high. The nurse told me this will resolve over time and settle in to my natural crease...? At the time of marking for the procedure the Doctor assured me that the scar would be in my natural crease.
I had an upper blepharoplasty done 2 months ago and Im afraid the crease is too high(8mm). I had a small amount of fat taken from above the tail end of my eyelids. I know I have to be patient but can a revision to lower the crease to be more subtle and natural be possible? I feel as my eyes are too big, overpowering my small face. Also not pleased with my side profileeyes are big, bulgy, and lots of excess skin above. Any advice + looking for doctors
I had revision blepharoplasty 10 days ago to remove a little extra skin on the left side. I know it's early only 10 days but the crease is now higher. The Dr said it would look the same only the extra skin removed. I'm really nervous that it won't look the same as the other eye. I don't for see the crease dropping. It also give the appearance of a lazy and seems unnatural. For reference he is an oculoplastic surgeon.
Tomorrow will be a week since I've had my double eyelid surgery done. However, I'm not sure if my doctor has cut it too high. He said that it's around 8mm high. Do you think my eyelids are still swollen and are the creases going to be lower and more natural? Thank you!
This is more of a technical question but anyway. I consulted with a few doctors who told me I have bilateral ptosis however the thing bothering me the most is the fact both my eyebrows are too high for my liking. I'm aware of the three common techniques used for ptosis correction (frontalis sling, levator advancement, Mullerectomy) and I'd like to know, does the degree that the brow drops depend on which technique is used? Thanks.
Left eye was more bruised and swollen than Right. I love right eye outcome but incision on left eyelid seems a few milineters above crease and a bit too high at inner eye and creates a strange fold of skin over the Crease. Do I need a bit more skin removed? Could it be due to residual swelling? Will the incision drop into crease? I realize it's early in healing timeframe and have Follow up in a few weeks but would like professional opinions.
