I had upper and lower Bleph on Jan 26, 2018. Today would be 3 1/2 months after surgery. I have what seems to be milia. My next appointment will be mid June. Dr said to wait since I am a strong or slow healer, he will re-check and will take care of the bumps. Any recommendations to avoid additional scar tissue?
I am about 6 months post-op upper and lower bleph. I am frustrated with the many bumps I have along most of my upper incision lines. Ive used Silagen and silicone scar tape, and have tried scar massage but it seems to make them more angry. My surgeon said at 1 year post we can revise the scar but he doesnt recommend anything else at this time. Consult with oculoplastic and he recommend pro-fractional laser to help smooth out the incisions. Do I just wait it out or try the laser? Im 38 y/o
Had multiple procedures. I was offered a lower eyelid revision to get rid of excess skin. I have had this done before right underneath my eyelash line 10 years ago. Assumed with this guy being number one Americas top surgeon and all these accolades he knew what he was doing. My incisions are not only really low, but not natural looking, and Im starting to see bumps above one of the incision sites.
Hi, I had an upper blephoplasty procedure 6 months ago. Looking at the right side of my face - the crease seems to be jagged. Could this be rectified in a revision? I don't think there's much more skin to remove - but I would just like it to look a bit neater. My surgeon is removing the excess 'bumps' or 'dog ears' on either side on my eye's in his office in a months time - would he able to fix this at the same time?
Im a 35 year old woman and I've recently noticed all sorts of bumps in the area around my left eye. As you can see from the photo, they're not quite pimples but are equally as unsightly. What might cause this? I asked my derm but she sort of blew me off saying that it was very close to my eye and too risky to treat considering you hardly notice it. Is there anything I can do to get these removed? How can I prevent more from developing? Thanks!
I am 9 wks post op after upper and lower eyelift and my incision lines have gotten strange bubbles on them that look bumpy like cauliflower stalks. The scars are causing distortion of the shape of my eyes and I have a strange web thing on the inside corner of my eye..this pulls the eyelid and is unsightly and uncomfortable.I have had injections to no avail and use scarfade, but no relief. How can this be helped?
I had an upper blepharoplasty done 15 weeks ago. The scars are still bumpy, and on one lid, there's a prominent red bulge. I've been massaging and using Dermatix (30 days so far), as directed by my doctor, but it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Should I be concerned at this point? I did not have dissolvable sutures.
I had upper blepharoplasty 9 months ago. Immediately after surgery I noted several bumps on the left side, near eye corner. I was told they will resolve on their own. They never did, and my both scars are very thick, raised and white. Its been 9 months and my surgeon has ghosted me. I would like to ask why my scars are so thick and visible, and is there anything to be done to improve them? I think the surgeon cut too much. I feel the eyelids are tight and find it hard to look to my sides.
I had an upper blepharoplasty eleven months ago. No complications, normal healing. The only thing that bothers me is that I still have slightly thickened bumps on the outer corners of my eyelids at the ends of the incisions. Will this eventually disappear, or is further surgery required to remove that scar tissue?
I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty with a brow lift 10 months ago. The lid of my right eye now has a peak or high point, and the outside of the lid seems droopy. Prior to surgery, the lid was a normal, symmetrical semicircle without any peak. I feel a slight pressure at the crease. When the eye is closed, a couple bumps are visible where the incision was made. My surgeon is unconcerned and said my eyes 'look great'. I disagree. Should I get a second opinion or will this resolve itself?
