I flew to Istanbul to have my eyelids done. It was promoted as an almond eye surgery wit a 100% success rate and no scarring. See here, scarring and uneven eyes. I was invited for a revision but the doctor does not want to tell me his approach to fixing this. What are my options? Can this be fixed?
Had upper eyelid done and now my eye doesn't close all the way. Also had fat implanted (think too close to the eye). So now huge bulge under my eye and pea sized hard thing under it. Been told nothing I can do by sever docs- plastics and eye... I've read maybe a dacryocystorhinostomy might work? how would I find someone good at that procedure as it seems to be a hybrid between the two specialties.
Had upper eyelid surgery about 1 years ago ago with a revision by the same provider. It only made things worse. I was going through a divorce and not in a good headspace. I went in for a lower facelift and walked out with a surgery booked I would not have. One of my favorite features is now my biggest insecurity. I know I can't get my eyes back to before but I am searching for possible solutions. He did not force me to get the surgery but I deeply regret it. Thanks
Please help me I was recommended and upper eyelid surgery and literal eyebrow lift by a surgeon I told them and expressed to them I don't want my eye shape to change and I didn't want the eyebrow lift. But they insisted in getting it to have a good results and now I look is different and botched. what can I do to restore my eye and eyebrow shape back.
I had revision eyelid surgery and it has now been a year. I initially wanted just the inner corner skin removed a small amount but instead more was taken. This resulted in creases and bunching on my eyelid. The Dr advised plasma pen but i feel this has made it worse and I am now left with creases and indentation. Feel so low. Not sure what else can be done here.
I had revision blepharopasty 11 months ago and the result has left me devastated. The skin is no longer smooth and I initially just wanted some excess skin removed from the inner upper corner. The Dr worked on the outer too and took too much skin so now it bunches up. He did plasma pen 1 week ago but i think it has made it worse. When I open my eyes one side in outer corner does not follow the natural shape of my eye, instead of going curved it goes straight too.
I am 24 and had upper bleph done because I hated my hooded eyes. I have huge, wide scars that are SO visible. I am 1 year post op!. I went to two other surgeons recently to get their advice and they were astounded. Both said the incisions were cut OVER 5MM higher than where they should have been! They said they cant comprehend how a doctor could be so incompetent and mess up this procedure so bad. They said I have no skin left for revision. My doctor takes zero accountability. What should I do?
I'm 6w post upper bleph.intention was 2 remove the excess skin I had when my eyes were closed. One eye did fold outward &that bothered me.I didn't think much more upper lid needed 2 show but understood the nature of removing the skin would do so some.Concerned about changing my almond eyes and believe it did.Obvi im healing but does this look botched?Double the lid amount I want shows, they're less elongated &assymetric &im more unattractive.is this what u wouldve done
female 60 healthy skin, 5'10 130 lbs. Extra skin on upper lids run in family. I had a very successful blepharoplasty 25 years ago. Mother had 3 proceedures successfully. Lots of extra skin again. Doctor removed far too much of both eyelids, left eye won't close, irritated. Cuts are jagged and uneven no eyelid on corners, hollow spaces. 2 consults were not listened too, I don't trust him to revise. My once best feature, big eyes are mouse eyes. Friends notice. Need corrected
I'm an asian male and the incision line seems a bit higher than usual. My surgeon said she did it at 6.8mm but it looks high and now it creates extra fold in between (3months PO) Will this be better after 6 months or do I need a revision
