I had a lower bleph with fat transfer over 6 months ago. Both eyes appear smaller/beady but the right slightly smaller and the lower lid is tight. Also a gap in outer corner. Can this be fixed? Doc suggests canthopexy.
Hello. I had an upper blepharoplasty with nasal fat pad reduced/removed 6 months ago. However, my right upper eyelid nasal fat pad seems to be protruding even more than before the procedure. Is this residual fat, excess skin, or scarring? I am confused because my surgeon said he does not see the issue. Please let me know how I can correct the bulging in the right upper eyelid. Thank you for your help.
I had lower eyelid fat repositioning in South Korea over six months ago. Everything recovered smoothly however when I am laughing or smiling hard now, there are these line protrusions under my eyes. The doctor assured me this was part of the healing when they were very prominent two months in but they remain there. I am very sad because it is counter to the goals of the procedure, is this something that would require additional surgery? Also can anyone tell me what this is?
6 months out from bilateral lower Bleph. I have graves eye disease. Cut was on the outside and extended past the corners of my eyes. I fsoon and he is open to revisions if I like - I just am not sure what to ask for? Things seem off - but Im not sure how to pinpoint it. Surgery was complicated by ocular rosacea afterwards that Im still treating.
I am 6 months post-op upper and lower bleph with fat transfer, and I have this lingering fluid left on the lower lateral part of my left eye. My plastic surgeon had prescribed tobramycin/dexamethasone drops to try a few months back, but it didnt help. I did recently see an ophthalmologist and they removed a stye on my lower lid, but the fluid has not resolved. She recommended to try the drops again for a week but so far no change. Any other suggestions? The fluid fluctuates at times.
I had lower bleph w CO2 laser 6 mo ago. Surgeon did fat tx to my lower lids despite me saying I wanted transposition if needed (I didnt have hollows). The result is disappointing and aged me. My eyes are sunken and the highpoint of the undereye is now my tear trough (instead of being flat) because too much fat injected where not needed, and too much removed right under my eyes. It looks like I have a constant black eye and craters under my eyes when I smile. Is there anything that can be done?
I am about 6 months post-op upper and lower bleph. I am frustrated with the many bumps I have along most of my upper incision lines. Ive used Silagen and silicone scar tape, and have tried scar massage but it seems to make them more angry. My surgeon said at 1 year post we can revise the scar but he doesnt recommend anything else at this time. Consult with oculoplastic and he recommend pro-fractional laser to help smooth out the incisions. Do I just wait it out or try the laser? Im 38 y/o
Im 6 months out from upper and lower blepharoplasty (fat repositioning, skin pinch) and canthopexy. The skin next to my nose, but not the fat that was repositioned is still swollen. It makes my eye hollows look much worse than before the surgery, as there are much much pronounced peaks and valleys. Is there an aggressive treatment or medication I can consume to help?
I'm a 27-year-old female who had blepharoplasty 6 months ago and my scars havent improved. 3 years prior I had ptosis repair and nearly invisible scars. Im happy with my results, however, the texture of the scars bothers me. My left eyelid has a very visible scar on the outer corner. The bunching of my inner eyelid skin is also concerning. My surgeon recommends excision of the cysts on my right eyelid & ultraclear laser on my left. Id like to know if this is the best course of action
