If you don’t have it before, and after pictures, then ask your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. Face typically heals faster than other parts of the body. That saidscar maturation can continue for over a year. In regards to the outcome of your procedure you should talk to your provider. Without seeing your before pictures, we don’t know your candidacy for the procedure. The lower and upper midface junction is fairly complex and there are sometimes multiple variables that contribute to signs of facial aging. Sometimes midface volume augmentation is needed for the best results of kind. It’s a judgment call in regards to how much fat to remove from the lower eyelid.
