Hey everyone, I had otoplasty a few months ago, but Im still unsure about the results. My right ear is about 5mm more protruded than the left (2.5cm vs. 2cm). Id love to hear honest feedback, does it look noticeable to you? Do you think its worth another revision?
Did otoplasty 1,5 years ago and have almost regret it because my ears got a bit uneven. Is it ever possible to fix them to look some better. They are not the same shape but do you think it still is possible? It is the right ear I dont like
Had ear surgery 1.5 years ago and since then have found my ears to be a bit uneven. What do you think? Would it be hard to fix? Also think that the right ear looks as bad as it did before. Could that be the reason for the asymmetry?
I had an otoplasty revision a month ago, and two weeks ago, my stitches were removed. However, yesterday, someone accidentally pulled my ear, causing it to bleed. Now, it looks like this (picture attached) Im worried about whether this is something I should be concerned about. I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday, but Im feeling quite anxious in the meantime. Thank you
I had otoplasty done 2 years ago and Im not satisfied with the result. My ears are asymetrical (though the form of them are not the same). The surgeon did a antihelical fold on one of my ears but not the other so it looks weird to me because the fold is very pointy. Can I reverse this fold and make it more soft like before again if the surgeon did not remove any cartilage and used dissolvable sutures. Is this new fold made out of cartilage or scars? I cant contact my surgeon (state hospital)
I had an otoplasty last December but Im not 100% sold on the finished result. Im not sure if its just me but I feel like the ears look a little drooped/prominent still. Just wondering if there is any opportunities to set them back? Ive also noticed that the scars appear quite raised still, with a noticeable lump on one ear. Is this a normal part of the healing process? Or should I contact my surgeon?
I had otoplasty four months ago, and this is how my ear is healing. It doesnt match my other ear, and looks strange. My surgeon said that it could take up to a year to see the final results of the surgery. But is this normal? And if not, how long do I have to wait to have it fixed?
My ears have been severely under corrected through otoplasty. They were in the perfect position until I got a haircut and the barber pulled on them, and now they protrude again. Will this be able to be fixed through a revision surgery or will I need to go through another whole otoplasty procedure? I would like them pinned in close to my head and not floppy. Thank you in advance
Hi, Ive recently had an otoplasty but I dont think its been a success. Is this considered to be pinned back, not sure I can tell much of a difference between my before and after photos. Should I consider a revision with the same surgeon? My ears look so much better in the morning when I take my headband off but seem to protrude within an hour or so.
