I had 90 units total dysport injected in lower and upper forehead. 2 months ago. I had severe swelling under eyes and eyelids 8 days post injection that also resulted in extreme pressure in head, ears and behind eyes then lasted over a month. Now 2 months post injection. I still have a good amount of bad days. Although some days I feel completely normal. Most days I have extreme pressure and bulging feeling behind eyes and tingling in face as if I'm hanging upside down. Very scared.
The nurse who did the injections had injected me before this Dysport injected approximately Oct. 24 th. I woke up with my face swollen under my eyes Nov. 2nd I woke up with my eyes and face swollen. The office was not open this weekend or today Monday I have ask another nurse that I know about this and she said that she can inject enzyme to help with swelling . I took Zyrtec for allergies yesterday but it didn't seem like it helped ..
I am now at 48 hours after Dysport on my frown line and just above mid eyebrow line, and I still have a fair bit of swelling where I was injected. Looks like a 'caveman' forehead. Is this common? Thanks very much.
About 2 months ago, I got Dysport in 11s, forehead, & eyebrow area w/great result. Recently washed face & applied pressure to glabella & eyebrow area. Suddenly, these areas got unevenly swollen. Glabella involuntarily contracted making 11s & froze like that for few secs. Now when pressure is applied to glabella, no involuntary contraction of 11s occurs, but glabella still has slight involuntary muscle sensation, bumpy/uneven swelling, & redness for few secs. This stops quickly. What is cause?
I had gotten dysport on my forehead and between my eyebrows during the last week of Februaury. The past week everytime I bend over the area between my brows swells up and turns red. Is this a normal side effect?
After applying pressure to glabella, glabella area has an involuntary muscle contraction, gets unevenly puffy, and turns pink. It only lasts for a few seconds, doesnt hurt, and doesnt bother me. The 60 units in 11s look like enough. This happened both times Ive gotten Dysport (at 2 different offices). The 1st time I got Dysport, it started around month 2. The 2nd time, I noticed it starting shortly after getting it. I think it gets LESS pronounced the more the Dysport wears off. Whats going on?
In April 10 I used Dysport on the forehead and the eyes a little I only had it once and in such a small amount . After several days getting Dysport I started not to feel well. Began starts cold symptoms and cough. In May - 10 starts Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) until now, pain in throat during the swelling of the saliva. I read , toxins never leaving the body (in case we do not get antitoxin). What can i do , how can i help myself ?
One week after injection ( with no other significant complications) I noticed a very transient itching all over my body- almost like a contact dermatitis. The next morning my eye was swollen shut. After some Benadryl my eye had cleared up but the rash continues. Another example- tonight, 10 days post injection and drying my ear with a q-tip turned it bright red and caused swelling that lasted about 15 min.
I received dysport in forehead along with juvederm in laugh lines. I had a red bump at one injection site that had swelling the size of a silver dollar around it. My Dr put me on antibiotics for infection. 2 weeks later I still have a red nodule at the injection site. Dr thinks it is a cyst. I am going to see a dermatologist now. The weird part is that this happened years ago after a Botox injection. I've had several injections since with no issue. Dr says he has never seen this before. Anyone?
