4 days ago I had two front teeth extracted on the bottom. Day 3 I sneezed pretty hard. The bone grafts seemed to loosen. Day 4 I finally ate solid food and it seems I may have knocked out one of the grafts. It was loose prior to eating. Now theres very little white grains left in the extraction hole left. What should I do?
I had an extraction\bone graft 4 days ago. Tonight stitches on both sides had come out, so I trimmed them as my surgeon instructed- however right after I trimmed them, they all came out and the membrane and a large amount of the bone graft came out. Could this still be ok?
The inside of my mouth and tongue are so sensitive, inflammed and are unable to tolerate the nylon sutures where they have been cut after bone graft surgery 4 days ago. Is it possible to use soft are sutures? And should I use a night guard to cover the area that is so sore. I have cankors in those areas.every time l talk ,eat or move my mouth it hurts where ever the cut sutures are contacting the soft tissue.Would dissolving sutures be adequate for holding the bone marrow in place?
I had an extraction with bone graft on my bottom back molar 4 days ago. I was told that granules of bone would push out. However, I have a fairly large piece of bone pushing out on the side of my gums. It almost looks like it's tearinf my gums away from the sutures. It protrudes out far enough to scratch my tongue.
My wife went to our family dentist for a painful tooth that turned out to be infected. it took him an hour to remove the tooth and did socket grafting and said there was nerve damage. This was last Thursday morning. Now its Monday morning. The pain is still very bad and she had to switch to advil 600-800 mg every 6-8 hours for the pain because the hydrocodone was making her nauseous. This dentist doesnt believe in antibiotics but last night I demanded he prescribe them which he did. Any advice?
