The inside of my mouth and tongue are so sensitive,inflammed and are unable to tolerate the nylon sutures where they have been cut after bone graft surgery 4 days ago. Is it possible to use soft are sutures? And should I use a night guard to cover the area that is so sore. I have cankors in those areas.every time l talk ,eat or move my mouth it hurts where ever the cut sutures are contacting the soft tissue.Would dissolving sutures be adequate for holding the bone marrow in place?

Go see your dentist to make sure everything is ok. It's possible that it could be ok. I'm guessing you are not having any pain. If you are and , or you don't feel assured that everything is ok, Then I suggest you get a second opinion.
